Carbon sits inside the first score. The sole is lying down on Fort Smith bermuda. We stand it a degree or we send the player farther from the ball, never both on one last.

Seat the heel before the last calls the sole too flat.
Heel Print is a western last-bench, not a catalog counter. Harlan dusts the face the way a bootmaker dusts the heel-seat of an oak last: a low heel stain means this player is walking the sole too flat for Garrison bermuda, or the length is already leaving them on the inside. We do not bless a pretty toe smear as a substitute.
Why a last-bench
A factory lie is a catalog last. The heel seat is the oak.
Players walk in quoting a number they liked on a spec sheet. Arkansas River clay does not read spec sheets. It reads whether the heel is already the landing strip after two summers of Fianna Hills bermuda, and whether a six that photographed pretty toward the toe in a garage is already walking inside when the rye goes slick after rain.
Inez Calder runs the seat iron. Harlan Peck decides upright, leave, or send the player to a length conversation. Boone Quay names the Garrison hour. Nobody here burnishes a heel stain to make a range clip happier.

Pretty toe that lies
A mat will print the toe while river clay prints the heel outdoors. We refuse to average those two seats.

Uneven seats
Short irons scar the heel; the four still sits. That is a length problem wearing a lie costume. The bench keeps them on separate welts.

I swore the six was pure toward the toe. Inez carboned it and the stain sat on the heel radius. They stood the lie a degree. Massard stopped leaking left on still evenings.
Harlan asked whether I play Fianna Hills mornings or the river after work. I said both. Boone said pick a clay hour or own two lasts. Useful the way a burnishing wheel is useful.
